 I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE SOUND OF FILTERTRONS, ESPECIALLY IN 335 STYLE GUITARS

THE PROBLEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT THEY ARE AN ODD SIZE, DIFFICULT TO FIT, AND DOWNRIGHT HARD TO ADJUST. PROBLEM SOLVED. I MADE THEM IN HUMBUCKER FORMAT. I LOVE THE SOUND OF THESE PICKUPS, THEY CAPTURE THE FILTERTRON SOUND WITH A LITTLE MORE GIRTH, SO THEY DONT SOUND SO WIMPY AND THEY OPEN UP NICELY THROUGH A VALVE AMP WITH GREAT CRUNCH REMINISENT OF EARLY ACDC. PLAYED CLEAN, THEY ARE SWEET AND HAVE THE JANGLE WE ALL LOVE THESE MAY BE A LITTLE FATTER THAN A NORMAL MODERN DAY FILTERTRON, BUT REMEMBER THE MODERN ONES HAVE CERAMIC MAGNETS.... ONLY THE OLD ONES HAD A LARGE ALNICO MAGNTE, AND THEY WERE SMOOTHER LIKE THESE. THESE ARE SERIOUSLY GOOD PICKUPS, WITH A MONSTER ALNICO V MAGNET INSIDE, WOUND TO 7K FOR THE NECK AND 7.3K FOR THE BRIDGE, USING SPECIALLY LAYERED WINDINGS. LIKE ALL MY PICKUPS, THESE ARE ALSO SPLITTABLE... THEY COME WITH 4 WIRE AS STANDARD
