These are remarkable pickups. I have placed a neck and bridge pickup in an old Reverend 390 that had its pickups removed. I wired it up with astandard Telecaster setup. I was attracted to the big signal and fascnated to have a guitar with no hum. The result has been spectacular from my point of view. It has a strat like warmth in the neck and the other two sounds bridge and both are truly great...it has the Acino 5 Fender "sparkle" and a massive signal and as stated is silent. There is also something else in depth that has strong tones of the minibuckers The most impressive thing about Fabian's pickups is that the clean sound on all of them is superb which means any effects added can be judged really easily. I tend to add a lil reverb and let his pickups do what they are designed to do.... which is excell!
