BASED ON THE FAMOUS 70S PICKUP BUT WITH ALNICO 5 MAGNETS
ALNICO 5 MAGNETS MAKES THIS PICKUP SMOOTHER AND LESS HARSH
COIL SPLITS ON THIS PICKUP ARE VERY GOOD, ESPECIALLY WHEN SELECTING THE INNER COILS
THESE ARE MODERATE OUTPUT AND GREAT FOR CLASSIC ROCK

They’ve got plenty of classic-rock attitude — a nice bite when you dig in, but surprisingly sweet and articulate cleans for a humbucker. There’s a really nice balance between warmth and clarity, and they respond beautifully to changes in picking dynamics.
Add some drive and these things really start to sing. They have plenty of punch without becoming harsh, with great clarity, sustain and enough grunt to handle everything from classic rock to heavier blues-rock.
The best part is that they’ve completely changed the personality of a guitar that had been sitting around largely forgotten. It’s gone from an old guitar I rarely picked up to one I actually want to play again.
Now I’m looking around the guitar room wondering which of my other guitars might be next…
